The Vision
Modernizing administrative technology and streamlining business processes to:
- Leverage advances in technology over the past decade
- Improve user experience
- Make work more efficient
- Introduce or expand standardization where appropriate
- Improve data governance and quality
- Facilitate better data access and visualization for analysis and decision-making
- Enhance compliance
The People
Collaboration, input, feedback, and participation are at the heart of Sightline. So far, dozens of listening sessions and focus groups have been conducted, and more than 500 participants across Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Health System evaluated technology solutions. New participation opportunities will arise throughout every phase of the program.
The Timeline
The Sightline program is already underway, but a transformation of this scale doesn’t happen overnight. The current focus is moving from our planning phase into the prepare phase where the focus will be engaging employees in transforming ways of working and readying data for a new technology vendor. The anticipated go-live date is July 2027.
